HOLBORN REBORN

  • Holborn is a beautiful neighbourhood in a beautiful city. We all know the environment is high on everyone’s agenda these days, and we want to do everything we can to make the week as sustainable as possible.
  • Throughout the week, we’ve done our best to make Summer in Holborn fun and entertaining without being wasteful.
  • Some of the green initiatives are simple – we’ll be recycling all the rubbish produced by the event and we’ve reduced the printed material where possible.
  • Other green moves have been more adventurous – our eco-portaloos for example!
  • Our eco-art challenge will involve teams of local businesses competing to create a work of art from discarded office supplies.
The Holborn Partnership promotes healthy living, preservation of the local environment, conservation, sustainability and recycling. Look out for the “Holborn Reborn” tag all around the festival site – this shows you that we’ve come up with an environmentally friendly solution to make the event as green as it can be.

This festival is organised by The Holborn Partnership (THP) with the support of more than 400 businesses and occupiers in the commercial district of Holborn. THP is one of the first fully-fledged Business Improvement Districts in the UK. It is a not for profit company that aims to make Holborn a better place to work, live and visit.

This week we will celebrate Holborn, its streets, green spaces, organisations, communities, cultural and historical connections as well as the people who work and live here.
